About Emily

Published by Emily

I’m a married lady who has lived all over, in such places as Boston, MA, Chapel Hill, NC, Oklahoma City, OK, Geneva, Switzerland, Honolulu, HI, San Diego, CA and now residing in Roswell, NM. I have been cooking and baking ever since I was about six. I love to make people feel good, and I learned early in the game that food is a great comfort to people in distress and also a terrific way to celebrate a happy occasion.
I have a wide variety of interests and a large circle of friends, in all walks of life.
Some of the interesting things I have done include:
  • Hitchhiked all over the United States when I was a teenager.
  • Worked as a clown at the Rose Bowl.
  • Obtained 20 1/2 hours of flight time from taking flying lessons.
  • Learned to be a stage hypnotist.
  • Took courses in being a trainer, being a paralegal and being a professional cake decorator.
Some facts about me:
  • I’m a Christian.
  • I have a personal library with more than 3000 books, over 300 of them are cookbooks.
  • I was adopted by my family when I was a little over a year old, and tracked down my biological families when I was 18.
  • I’ve been married three times and divorced twice.
  • I have a weird sense of humor and collect strange people as friends.
  • I like clean jokes that are friendly to everyone.
I’m looking forward to hearing from my readers. I’m always interested in trying new recipes and hearing your suggestions for new cookbooks.
